After Leaving the Aberdeen Lock in Tennessee we picked up our speed to 20kts to make it to Columbus Marina before the sunset and we had to dock in the dark.
With winter coming we found ourselves in the right conditions for heavy morning fog on the Tenn-Tom River.
Sometimes the fog is pretty and peaceful with terrifying 15 feet of visibility. Leaving Port St. Joe North bound up the canal.
After grounding on the rim of the Okeechobee Lake, we had to cross in the weather conditions we were hoping to avoid. Even at 16 knots the flags on the bow were still blowing sideways.
